Cloudflare Inc. (NYSE: NET), a provider of online services, has become part of the Microsoft MISA security ecosystem.NET stock traded at $135.67 on September 23.
Cloudflare Inc. (NET) has joined Microsoft’s Intelligent Security Association (MISA). It is an independent vendor community of data protection software and tools. Their solutions are integrated into Microsoft Security services widely used by different businesses.
MISA generally facilitates the use of third-party services; now Cloudflare can reach a large audience of Microsoft customers through a direct channel as well as access Azure’s cloud. Cloudflare WAF web app enables Azure users to protect against sophisticated cyber attacks, such as covertly injected malicious code, that exploit a variety of vulnerabilities.
According to Cloudflare’s management, the decision was reached after discussions with industry representatives – including Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations. In response to customer requests for unified solutions, Cloudflare Inc. (NET) joined MISA.
Cloudflare Inc. (NET) currently handles approximately 90 million cyber threats every day, covering 100 countries. The company plans to expand the capabilities of its machine learning for the analysis of cyber threats with an aim to create a kind of “immune system” of the Internet, capable of spotting and responding to cyber threats in real time.
Cloudflare Inc. (NET) is a long way from achieving this ambitious goal so far. But the company is certified by the government, has a large clientele, and is well-regarded by investors.
NET stock gained 1.63% during the last week and rose 9.39% over the last one-month period. Shares of this company’s stock rose 29.74% throughout the last quarter. Within the last six months, the stock has increased 103.56%, with a full-year gain of 239.34%. At the time of writing, this stock’s year-to-date (YTD) price performance is now positive at 78.54%.
